Women + Queers in Clay from GasworksNYC

Sundays, February 1-April 5, 2026, Recordings available in the members Facebook group

This series of workshops will bring together the talents and perspectives of 10 women and gender non-conforming artists working in clay from around the country. Each week a different instructor will do an artist talk followed by a demonstration of one of their special skills or favorite techniques online via zoom. We have access to the recordings for at least one year.

Here's the lineup:

  • Andréa Keys Connell will do an artist talk and then demonstrate building large-scale sculptures

  • Amy Sanders will do an artist talk, then demonstrate how she builds a small pouring vessel with darting and alterations.

  • Latika Nehra will do an artist talk and then demonstrate how she translates ideas into hand-built forms
