Event Description: This one woman show by Robin Leventhal showcases recent work with black clay celebrating the heart with a re-purposed spring as a stand in a series called Light Hearted . There is also a section dedicated to air planters which animate the parched earth and burnished forms. The two largest of these are on the wall becoming Wall Flowers Finally, there are a group of my mixed media pieces which include lacquered and lustred pods and flowers housed with ceramic components, bones and rust fragments enshrined on wood. These pieces were inspired from the passing of my father and were initially for ashes, but evolved into shrines to celebrate the beauty that is life.
